I had the opportunity at the beginning of September to take my film camera on a boat trip up to Maple Bay on the west coast of British Columbia. There were few moments where I wasn’t wearing my full storm gear. It was wet. The first night we stopped at Portland Island, located just off the shores of Sidney. When we woke up, we had one of those few moments where it was sunny out. Great! Time to go explore. You’ve probably seen a few of the pictures from the Clean, Fresh and New post. After doing some rescanning and some editing, here are a few more shots from that trip.

It was an interesting experience only taking film on a 5 day trip. Picking and choosing every shot you’re going to take. Especially when your camera’s meter is broken and you have to guess the exposures. It’s not like digital, that’s for sure.
