So, I missed the Tasty Tuesday this week. And that would be because I was packing for a ski trip in which I left on Tuesday. Whatever, it’s a poor excuse. Other than the ski trip, I don’t have much to report on this week. I will be posting a Tasty Tuesday this week and it will be something from way back.
In the meantime, here’s the video from the weekend. It was really cold while we were up there (-20°C in the morning and a balmy -17°C in the sun) at Mount Washington. The video is from all over the mountainside. Make sure to watch it in HD. If you’re on a mobile device, here’s the youtube link

Dark Side
I was introduced to this video today when I was going through my Google Reader. It’s called Dark Side of the Lens from Astray Films.
It’s a pretty powerful short film. And I love the way it was put together. The way the voice-over and music is very inspiring and to the point. It makes me want to put on a wetsuit and jump in to frothing 5°C water and take pictures. And for those that don’t know me personally, I get cold pretty easily. The film has been out for about 6 months now and has over 671,000 views, over 12,500 of which were yesterday. If you like water, surfing, rugged coastlines, beautiful imagery, or inspirational videos then this is a must watch. Thanks to Chase Jarvis for posting this on his blog.

Vancouver 2010 Olympic Host City – Time Lapse
Alright. I turned on my computer this morning thinking that I was only going to post once today and leave it at that. However, when I opened up Google Reader, I found this link to Rob Galbraith’s post. It’s about Vancouver and the 2010 Olympic Games. It’s a Time Lapse Video and it’s really cool. Seriously. Watch it. Full screen.
Right? Cool. That’s it.

Mag+
This is a really cool concept on the new wave of magazines. Instead of putting video or “moving stills” in to your magazine (Harry Potter style), put your magazine in a large touch screen display. It would be great if all the magazines used this device and you could sync with your computer to download certain subscriptions of magazines. Like a podcast, that you pay for.
