Photogaphers vs. The Picture-Takers

How easy is it to take a picture, run it through a quick editing program and then share it with the world without taking a step. 10 years ago, it would have been impossible. Today, however, with any common mobile phone, you can take a picture, add an effect with Photoshop Express or another similar App and then upload it to Facebook, Twitpic, Flickr, or any other choice of image sharing social media sites. Music, Photography, Art, People

On Saturday, February 20th, Dab Studio will be hosting another Dab Acoustic Night. This is a night that features local musicians and artists brought together for an all round good time. I encourage anyone who is interested in anything artistic to come by Dab, located at 602 Esquimalt Road around 8:00pm. I’ll be hanging some work there and enjoying the music that night. The night is a by donation entrance, so donate what you can and enjoy some of Victoria’s talent. Some of the artists that will be attending are (in no particular order):

  • Cole Grifter
  • Serina Zapf
  • Rachael Cardiello
  • Solace Sylum
  • Lucas & Co.
  • Sirens
  • and many more…

If you would like some more information on who will be there or time/place etc., visit the Facebook event page and click on attending. Here’s a sneak preview of some stuff that I’ll be putting up.

If you’d like a free copy of my book, head on over to the comp and find out how you can win one!
